To apply for our programmes, you need to be a graduate, ideally with a 2:1 or above. Consideration will be given to applicants with a lower classification who can demonstrate a commitment to children's early learning and development. 

We welcome graduates from a range of backgrounds, but we expect students to have had recent relevant experience doing some form of paid or voluntary work working with children or young people. 

We are looking for trainees who can demonstrate the characteristics of effective learning themselves.  We’ll expect you:

• to show real interest and enthusiasm for children's learning.
• to be resilient and be prepared to work hard.
• to show creativity and be able to critically reflect on your own learning.

We have high standards for the children in our schools and the adults who work with us.
